Job Description and Duties

Under close supervision of the Records and Content Management, Supervisor I, Retention and Retrieval (R&R) unit, incumbent will perform paper filing of confidential records in the Division of Human Resources (DHR) file station. Incumbent will also back-up DHR front office staff with scanning mail, as needed, perform indexing and quality control of the Department’s electronic records into the SharePoint Enterprise Records Management System (ERMS), and may be involved in rotation within the R&R unit to provide overall coverage in all areas/locations supported by the unit.

We are seeking a self-motivated candidate with strong organizational and time management skills, who can adapt to changing priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with clerical work, scanning , proofreading and preparing documents, data entry, typing correspondence, memos, or letters, and has experience with maintaining document and file/records both physical and digital with a focus on quality control (QC) while handling confidential documents. The ideal candidate has experience of demonstrating outstanding customer service, the ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures and maintain professional and positive working relations with all levels of staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.), basic computer knowledge, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
